  1. This place may not have the pretty exterior of some car washes, but they are outstanding!
Staff was friendly, crews were very detailed (inside and out of my car), and my cars looked nice! I live in Emeryville and drove both of my Tesla’s to this area just to get them washed.

  2. This place is one of the few errands in the Bay Area that is painless. I’ve gotten my oil changed here a few times now and I’ve been able to get out in about 10 minutes for an oil change. Staff is super friendly and organized. I haven’t run into a long wait of people ahead of me yet. I so appreciate a place that is organized and efficient!

  3. It was kinda funny because when I drove up to the front of the line, a tech (he was wearing a uniform like the other workers there) greeted me with my first name. I guess they had my card on file from the other time I got my oil changed there.

This was my second time going there. The worst part about going there, for me, is the location. It is in a bad neighborhood–just a block away from a homeless encampment. I loved that there was only one car ahead of me, and I was able to stay in my car the whole time.

The people who waited on me were friendly. The person who was physically doing the oil change couldn’t speak English–there were others that answered my questions. There was someone else checking the pressure on my tires. Someone else supporviising them. Some else who asked for my credit card.

It was a way different experience than many decades ago with just one person doing everything.

  4. I would never recommend my worst enemy go here. I have been going to the High Street Carwash for years. I paid them $45.00 and a tip to have them steal from me.

I went to the carwash, and as I was getting out, I saw my $325 Chloe shades in the case. I said to myself, Let me grab those, and started grabbing my phone, water bottle, and some papers with identifying information and completely forgot.

I then tipped the Man for providing a service and drove off. I went to grab my sunglasses case, and it WAS GONE! I called, and the Supervisor who went on to say he has worked there for 11 years and never had an allegation of theft! Red flag number one! I then reminded him that when I was paying for the wash, someone called saying their passport that was under the floorboard was gone! He said everyone blames the car wash but he would get back to me in a few days. I then drove back there and demanded to see the video, which is dark and does not keep a continuous recording of the vehicles.

I am livid; I wore those glasses almost every day. On my phone alone, I have over 50 pictures of me wearing those glasses, and for them to tell me they were not in my car when I wear them every day was so insulting. For me to pay for a service and then get my property stolen was so disturbing and disrespectful.

I will never go there again, and I say, GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!! To me, IT IS NOT WORTH it! I am making it my mission to tell anyone who will listen. It is not right to steal!

  5. One of the best and fastest car wash with oil change they said in 8 minutes when they not busy but most of the time you may wait longer. They have great lobby for customer to be relaxed till they getting the car wash or oil change. Going there from long time meet nice people every time visiting. I think they are price is kind of higher. They need to have kind of deal for the customers who visiting always mast have a free car wash who changes oil in this location 2 to 4 time. I think it be fair!!!!

Located KSC Car Wash with a Quick Search for a hand car wash in Oakland, during my visit to the San Francisco/Oakland area.

First, I’m very picky when it comes to washing the Jeep Brute Double Cab, as it gets enough scratches on the trails(home driveway); so after reading recent reviews and then the great service from the moment I rolled through the gate – I can’t say enough of the service.

Second, my visit time was on a Sunday morning around 10:00am. I mention this because there were more than a handful of cars in front of me, and the line was moving fast; even though I was told around a 30 min wait, I was in and out in about 20 minutes, or maybe less🤔.

Furthermore, my expectations of the wash and dry service were soon surpassed; as I waited at the outside seating area, under the tent and noticed the cars in front of me coming out detailed and sparkling cleaned.👍 As for the actual wash: This establishment actually only hand washes and doesn’t sneak in the brushes to get those high areas that can’t be reached (I.e. the top of the cabin or the front an back windshield). For the price of $4X.00 for the “oversized” vehicle price on the Brute Double Cab – I will not complain. Car came out washed, dried(hand towels and blower).

If I’m in the area or if I need another wash before heading back home to Texas – I will definitely return to this place. I recommend this place to all whose vehicles are in desperate need of maintenance and care. ✅

First time to use a hand wash services. I didn’t know what to expect and to compare. My Prius Prime needed a deep clean inside out, after years of heavily use by my a 9 and 2.5yo.

I went there on a cloudy Saturday. As I arrived, there were 2-3 cars washing. Wait time to start was zero. It took me about 30 mins from start to finish. There were constantly 5-6 hard-working people (respect!) rotating to serve my car, washing, drying, vacuuming, and detailing.

I took my car seat out in advance and stored in the trunk, with all the random things that kids left behind. My trunk was packed full. I thought they would skip my trunk, but they didn’t. They took out all the stuff vacuumed and wrapped it, and but them back.

I’m surprise how fast and well they clean my car inside & outside. All cheerio and food bits, sand from beaches and my daughter’s spiky seed pod that exploded thousands of seeds are all gone! No fragrance or hash chemical smell left behind, and all odors were gone. First time customer, and no regrets.

I’ve been coming here for years but today is my last day coming here. We personally saw that an employee grab a drink from the car and proceeds to save it for later once confronted the employee proceeds to get an attitude for being caught and throws drink at the trunk and slams the trunk but since it’s automatic the trunk begins to push back. Apart from this happening we do a last minute inspection and we see that the letters are missing and looked tampered with. Really disappointed since the owners are nice and try to satisfy customers but it’s the employees that make it hard to come back.

My first time coming here and my last time. I left and came back after noticing hot pink substance on the rear bumper. I informed them about it and they treated me so unfriendly and blew me off. Took my money and I gave a tip for outside only. After blowing me. I should’ve taken a photo of the hot pink bucket of stuff they use to wash car that sides in middle. Same color. Here is a photo of what was left on my car. They will mess your car up and not accept accountability. Never patronizing this business ever. Has this happened to anyone else?

Good car washes are rare around here. This place is excellent. Recently got my car washed for $45 (inside and outside). Came back after 30min to find it spotless. They found my girlfriend’s lost gold earring while washing the car and left it in the cupholder. Enough said.

Honestly the best deal around. The soap actually removes dirt and the spray wax seems to work. For $5 I can wash and wax my truck. Seems like there is someone there to keep the peace and maintenance.

I was approached by the manage of the facility to ask if I needed help and he helped sell me tokens.

However, knowing as I told him that this was my first time to be using this coin operated car wash facility, he failed to explain to me the various buttons that had to be manually turned for soap wax etc.

I think he could have been better and it would have reflected in my review. He chose not to and I hope reading this review he will try harder next time.

Good water pressure and the cost wasn’t that much. I took my time vacuuming and polishing my chrome and the atmosphere was great. The attendant was helpful and pleasant.

At $2 per choice (foaming brush , wash, rinse, etc) I expected more at this run down, dark, very sketchy car wash. I had to use my phone light the whole time just to see where to aim the wand as virtually all of the lights in the facility are out. There is no change machine on hand so I ended up leaving with $12 worth of car wash tokens and the thought I’ll probably never see that money again.

It’s too bad the owners don’t put a tiny shred of effort in maintaining the place as it is very conveniently located and there was a line of customers there.

But instead of driving off with a great feeling of a clean car, you are left with more the sensation of relief you weren’t mugged in that dark concrete post apocalyptic car wash.

Guidelines for a Secure Car Wash Experience

Car washing is an essential part of maintaining a vehicle’s appearance and protecting its paintwork. However, it is important to keep in mind certain safety guidelines to ensure the process is efficient and avoids any potential damage. Here is a general safety guideline for car washing:

  • Choose a safe location: select a well-lit area away from busy roads to minimize the risk of accidents and distractions.
  • Gather the necessary equipment: make sure you have all the tools and materials required for car washing, such as a bucket, microfiber wash mitt, a pH-neutral car shampoo, and clean towels.
  • Preparation: before starting the wash, remove any loose dirt or debris from the car’s surface using a hose or pressure washer. This helps prevent scratching the paint during the scrubbing process.
  • Use proper washing techniques: prioritize the two-bucket method, where one bucket contains soapy water and another clean water. Dip the wash mitt into the soapy water, wash a section of the car, and then rinse the mitt in the clean water before repeating the process. This prevents dirt from being reintroduced onto the car’s surface.
  • Mind the paintwork: avoid using excessive pressure or scrubbing too hard, as this can cause scratches or swirl marks. Instead, use gentle circular motions and let the cleaning agents do most of the work.
  • Protect delicate parts: be cautious around delicate areas such as emblems, decals, or antennas. Avoid using excessive force or rubbing directly on these areas to prevent damage.
  • Rinse thoroughly: after cleaning each section, rinse the car thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining soap residue.
  • Dry properly: use a soft and clean microfiber towel or chamois to dry the car’s surface. This helps prevent water spots and streaks.
  • Protective measures: consider applying a coat of wax or sealant after washing to help protect the car’s paintwork and maintain its shine.

By following these safety guidelines for car washing, you can ensure a thorough and safe process that will help keep your vehicle looking its best while avoiding any unnecessary damage.
